Viņa piemin tikai vienu pilnvērtīgākas dzīves aspektu – mainīt attieksmi pret savu nodzīvoto un padarīto. Tas ir pareizi, bet nav pietiekami.

Tiešām, vecumā mums ir iespēja nodzīvot atlikušo dzīves daļu daudz pilnvērtīgāk, nekā tas bija iespējams jaunības nezināšanas gados. Tagad, kad esam ieraudzījuši galvenos dzīves likumus, vērtības un patiesības, tikai tad varam izveidot dzīves izpratnes un rīcību, kas tuvāka realitātei un sagādā mazāk vilšanos un kļūdu. Ļauj priecāties un dzīvot saturīgāk, apzinoties katra mirkļa vērtību, nozīmīgumu un skaistumu.
